Meet Miss Cherry
True progress happens when we build the specific foundations a child needs to thrive.
With 13 years of clinical expertise as a paediatric speech therapist, I am guided by the belief that real progress is entirely unique to each child. I know that parenting through developmental challenges can feel overwhelming, which is why my approach is completely non-judgmental, grounded, and deeply compassionate.
By combining clinical precision with true empathy, my mission is to build deep, trusting partnerships. I am here to ensure that families, educators, and healthcare providers feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
Every child communicates;
our privilege is learning how to listen.
The Foundation
My clinical journey began at The University of Hong Kong, where I earned my BSc in Speech & Hearing Sciences. Over the past decade, I have supported children from toddlerhood all the way to 18 years old, firmly believing that every single child is brilliant in their own unique way.
My Journey
Diverse Experience
I specialised in providing tailored support for children navigating speech and language delays, Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and a wide spectrum of developmental profiles.
I also have had the privilege of serving families across private child development centres, NGOs, mainstream schools, and special schools. Walking alongside families navigating extra challenges deeply moved me—and shifted how I view therapy.
A Holistic Approach
Witnessing the everyday realities of these homes inspired me to return to HKU to pursue a Master of Social Sciences in Behavioral Health. I realised that true therapy means so much more than just building clinical skills, it requires nurturing the emotional well-being of the child and supporting the mental wellness of the parents. It also helped me understand how to sustainably care for myself as a clinician, too.
Joyful Integration
Today, I am a dedicated advocate for integrating holistic mental and emotional wellness into speech therapy. I love sharing practical, actionable strategies that turn speech practice into a smooth, joyful, and natural part of your busy daily routine.
To ensure your family receives the highest standard of precise care, I continuously train in advanced, evidence-based intervention methodologies.
Bridging Language & Connection
To best support your child's entire network, I provide therapy and consultation fluently in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, effectively bridging language barriers to bring families, schools, and professionals closer together.
